KIRCHOFF'S RULES PROBLEMS


                                      Kirchoff's rules

1. If I1 = 0.2 A and I2 = 0.5 A Find the magnitude and direction of I3.

2. If I1 = 0.3 A and I2 = 0.1 A Find the magnitude and direction of I3
 
3. Use Kirchoff’s rules to find the values of the currents in the various branches of the following circuits.


(a)
V1 = 4.5 V 
V2 = 3 V
V3 = 1.5 V

R1 = 200Ω 
R2 = 100Ω 
R3 = 50v





(b) 
V1 = 5 V 
V2 = 2 V
V3 = 1.5 V

R1 = 100Ω 
R2 = 200Ω 
R3 = 500Ω
R4 = 50Ω 



(c) 
V1 = 6 V 
V2 = 3 V
V3 = 1.5 V

R1 = 100Ω 
R2 = 1000Ω 
R3 = 200Ω 
R4 = 100Ω 



(d) 
V1 = 4.5 V 
V2 = 6 V
V3 = 3 V

R1 = 1000Ω
R2 = 200Ω 
R3 = 500Ω
